Ultrasuonoterapia
Ultrasound consists of sound vibrations at such a high frequency that they cannot be perceived by the human ear.
Ultrasound therapy devices consist of a high-frequency current generator, a shielded cable, and an emitting head, usually placed in a fixed or mobile manner on the area to be treated protected by a gel.
Ultrasound can also be used in water: in this case the head is immersed about 2 cm away from and parallel to the portion to be treated.

- Controindicazioni
- Sciatica and neuritis in general, scapulohumeral periarthritis (also in the presence of calcifications), epicondylitis, Dupuytren’s disease.
- Presence of neoplasms, near the cardiac area or sexual organs , osteoporosis, phlebitis in acute phase.
